FlashSwipe (“we”, “our”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

  • Account information: email address (when you sign in with email, Google, or Apple).

  • User content you create: words/lists you add inside the app.

  • Purchase information: subscription status (Pro / Free) and purchase validation results provided by Apple.

  • Device & usage data (basic): app performance logs/crash data to improve stability.

Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to measure screen views, feature interactions, app sessions and subscription events. Analytics uses a randomly assigned app-instance identifier and may derive general location from masked IP addresses. We do not send your email address, account ID or the words/lists you enter to Analytics. We use aggregated usage statistics to understand which features are useful and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use data to:

  • Provide login and account features

  • Save and sync your lists and progress

  • Enable Pro subscription features

  • Improve the app (bug fixes, performance, security)

  • Understand feature usage through aggregated analytics reports

  • Provide customer support

3. Payments / Subscriptions

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store your full payment details. Subscription status is handled via Apple’s systems.

4. Sharing of Data

We may share limited data only with service providers required to run and improve the app (for example, authentication, database and Google Analytics for Firebase services). We do not share data for advertising “data selling” purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion from within the app (if available) or by contacting us. Once deleted, your stored data will be removed within a reasonable period, except where required by law.

7. Children

FlashSwipe is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date.
